At RoofQuantiX, we stand behind the quality and timeliness of our roof measurement reports. We want every customer to have a fair and transparent experience. This Refund Policy outlines the specific circumstances under which refunds are issued, how to request one, and what you can expect from the process.

This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Full Refund — Report Not Delivered on Time

You are entitled to a 100% full refund if your completed Report is not delivered within the timeframe you selected at checkout.

Our delivery tiers and their guaranteed windows are:

  • Express: Delivery within 2 business hours of order confirmation
  • Standard: Delivery within 4–6 business hours of order confirmation
  • Economy: Delivery within 8–12 business hours of order confirmation

Delivery windows apply during standard business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed outside of business hours begin processing at the start of the next business day.

Exceptions — the delivery guarantee does not apply in the following circumstances:

  • The property address submitted was inaccurate, incomplete, or unlocatable in our imagery database
  • A force majeure event (natural disaster, widespread outage, etc.) prevents timely completion
  • The delay was caused by a third-party imagery provider and is outside our control
  • You provided conflicting or additional instructions after placing the order that required rework

If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, please contact us and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.

2. Full Refund — Property Not Covered by Aerial Imagery

You are entitled to a 100% full refund if the property you submitted is not covered by sufficient aerial imagery to complete a Report.

RoofQuantiX relies on third-party aerial and satellite imagery providers. While coverage is extensive across the United States, there are some properties — particularly in very rural, remote, or recently developed areas — where adequate imagery may not be available.

If this is the case for your submitted property, we will notify you as soon as we determine that a Report cannot be completed. A full refund will be issued promptly — you will not be charged for work we cannot perform.

To minimize this risk, you may contact us at support@roofquantix.com before placing an order to confirm imagery availability for a specific address, particularly for properties in remote locations.

3. Revision Policy — Measurement Errors

We are committed to delivering accurate Reports. If you believe that a delivered Report contains a measurement error — such as an incorrect total square footage, wrong pitch value, or missing roof plane — we will investigate and correct it at no additional charge.

To request a revision:

  • Email us at support@roofquantix.com within 14 days of report delivery
  • Include your Order ID and a clear description of the specific measurement(s) you believe are incorrect
  • If available, attach supporting documentation (e.g., contractor measurements, inspection report) to help us understand the discrepancy

Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days. If a genuine error is confirmed, we will issue a corrected Report within the same timeframe as your original delivery tier. The revision policy covers errors attributable to our measurement process — it does not apply to discrepancies caused by property changes after imagery was captured, or differences between aerial and on-site measurements within our stated accuracy tolerance.

4. No Refund After Report Delivery

Once a completed Report has been delivered to you, no refund will be issued. Roof measurement reports are digital products that are immediately usable upon delivery.

Because our Reports are custom-generated digital deliverables specific to the property you submitted, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. The work is performed and the intellectual value is delivered the moment the Report reaches you. For this reason, we do not offer refunds based on:

  • A change of mind after delivery
  • The Report being within our stated accuracy tolerance (95%+) but differing from on-site measurements
  • Deciding not to proceed with a roofing project after receiving the Report
  • Report content meeting the specifications of your selected tier but not meeting additional unstated expectations

If you have concerns about a delivered Report, please use the Revision Policy described in Section 3 above. We take accuracy seriously and will work with you to ensure your Report is correct.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under Section 1 or Section 2 of this policy, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Email us at support@roofquantix.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Order ID]"
  • Step 2: Include your Order ID, the property address, the date of your order, and a brief description of why you are requesting a refund.
  • Step 3: Our support team will review your request and respond within 2 business days to confirm eligibility.
  • Step 4: If your refund is approved, we will initiate the refund to your original PayPal payment method.

Please do not initiate a PayPal dispute or chargeback before contacting us. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly, and direct communication is almost always faster than a formal dispute process.

6. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund has been approved and initiated by RoofQuantiX, please allow the following timeframes:

  • PayPal processing: Approved refunds are returned to your PayPal account within 3 to 5 business days of approval.
  • Bank or card posting: If you funded your PayPal payment via a bank account or credit/debit card, the funds may take an additional 2 to 5 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.

You will receive an email confirmation from us when the refund has been initiated, and a separate confirmation from PayPal when it is processed. If you do not see the refund after 10 business days, please contact us and we will follow up with PayPal on your behalf.

7. Disputes and Escalations

We strive to resolve all refund and revision requests fairly and within the timeframes stated above. If you feel your concern has not been addressed satisfactorily after contacting our support team, you may escalate by:

  • Replying to your support email thread and requesting escalation to a senior team member
  • Filing a dispute through PayPal's Resolution Center, which provides additional consumer protections
